Caitie grew up in central New Jersey and studied Biology and English at Cornell as an undergraduate before moving to New York and completing her MD and internal medicine residency at Weill Cornell-NYP. She is now a clinical fellow in hematology/oncology with an interest in lymphoma and its interactions with complex immune microenvironments. 

She lives in New York with her husband and enjoys running, exploring nature, and writing short stories.
