Daniela is an Italian postdoc. She obtained her M.S. in Medical Biotechnology at the University of Naples Federico II and completed her Ph.D. in Molecular Medicine at Vita-Salute San Raffaele University in Milan. Daniela joined as a postdoctoral associate co-mentored by Drs. Ari Melnick and Eftychia Apostolou in 2023. For her career, she has interests in both onco-hematology and chromatin structure. Her project focuses on studying how 3D chromatin organization controls germinal center reaction under both physiological and pathological conditions. She believes that a better understanding of these mechanisms is crucial as dysregulation of genomic architecture is linked to lymphomagenesis.

Fun facts:

In her free time, Daniela enjoys reading, theater, hiking, traveling, strolling around, hanging out with friends, and singing loudly… Well, she enjoys pretty much everything!

She took countless sports classes and dropped them all in less than two months.
