George grew up in Chicago and graduated from the University of Chicago in 2024. During his undergraduate studies, he investigated the altered glutamine metabolism in myeloproliferative neoplasms using an array of molecular and biochemical methods. Today, he works closely with Dr. Wendy Beguelin to elucidate the novel epigenetic dysregulations driving lymphomagenesis and how they can be leveraged in precision medicine to help patients. Beyond his passion in fighting cancer, he enjoys playing hockey, going on road trips, and watching stand-up comedy.
